Abstrak

The transformation of urban lifestyles has increased the demand for multifunctional public spaces that can accommodate social, economic, and recreational activities. This community engagement activity was carried out through a public survey to identify visitor preferences toward the facilities at Delipark Medan, a modern shopping center designed under the concept of an “urban lifestyle mall.” The study applied a descriptive quantitative approach using questionnaires distributed to 500 respondents, consisting of students, university participants, and the general public. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe visitor behavior, perceptions of facilities, and satisfaction levels. The results show that 64.8% of respondents visit Delipark more than twice a month, with the main attraction being the comfort of open spaces and diverse culinary facilities. Most respondents agreed that Delipark successfully provides a recreational experience suitable for families and modern urban lifestyles. These findings highlight the importance of integrating commercial and social functions in the development of shopping centers, emphasizing the need for sustainable and adaptive public facilities that meet the evolving needs of the community.
