Cycling facilities are infrastructure that can be used by cyclists. The form of this facility can be a bicycle path.
This study reviews cyclist facilities located on the Jalan Dago, which is a favorite route in the city of Bandung
cyclists. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of service of a bicycle lane using the Bicycle Level
of Service approach. This method can be used to evaluate the level of service of bicycle lane with the factors
that influence it, such as the volume factor, motorized vehicle speed factor, road pavement condition factor,
and road cross section factor. To achieve this purpose, a survey was conducted to determine traffic volume,
motorized vehicle speed, percentage of heavy vehicles, pavement conditions, and effective road width. This
study shows that the level of service of bicycle lane on the road observed is D. The bicycle lane that is on the
main road and the high volume of motorized vehicles are thought to be the cause of the low level of bicycle
lane level of service.
