Publication Ethics
International Journal of islamic Finance And Economic is a peer-reviewed national journal, available in online form and published twice a year, namely in March and September. This statement explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing articles in this journal, including the author, editor-in-chief, Editorial Board, peer-reviewers and PKMPI publishers.
Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication
Publishing articles in the International Journal of islamic Finance And Economic that are peer-reviewed is an important part of developing a coherent and respected knowledge network. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. The reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. Therefore, it is important to agree on standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: authors, journal editors, peer reviewers, publishers and the public. We are committed to ensuring that, reprint, or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions.
Publication Decision
The editor of the International Journal of islamic Finance And Economic is responsible for deciding which articles submitted to the journal must be published. The validation of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers should always drive such decisions. Editors can be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and limited by current legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. Editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.
confidentiality
Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the appropriate authors, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and publishers, as appropriate. Editors at all times evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.
Disclosure and conflict of interest
Unpublished material disclosed in submitted manuscripts may not be used in an editor's own research without written consent from the author. Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest with any of the authors, or the institution.
Reviewer Tasks
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Peer reviews assist editors in making editorial decisions and through editorial communications with authors can also assist authors in improving papers.
Speed
Any shortlisted person who feels unqualified to review the research reported in the manuscript or knows that his rapid review is not possible must notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process.
confidentiality
Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They may not be shown or discussed with others except as permitted by the editors.
Objectivity Standards
The review must be carried out objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Reviewers must express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Source Acknowledgment
Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the author. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument has been previously reported must be accompanied by a relevant citation. The reviewer should also call the editor's attention if there are substantial similarities or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and other published papers of which he has personal knowledge.
Reporting standards
Authors of original research reports must present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data must be represented accurately. Manuscripts should contain sufficient detail and references to enable others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors should ensure that they have written entirely original work, and that the authors have used the work and/or words of others that have been properly cited or cited.
Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication
An author should not generally publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or major publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is a publishing behavior
