About the Journal

International Journal of Islamic, Economic and Finance (IJIEF) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year (April & October) by the Perkumpulan Konsultan Manajemen Pendidikan Indonesia (PKMPI). The journal aims to provide a scholarly platform for researchers, academicians, practitioners, and students to publish original research papers, conceptual articles, and critical reviews in the fields of Islamic economics, finance, and global economic development based on Islamic values.

The scope of IJIEF covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Islamic Economics— including Islamic economic theory and policy, sustainable development, and macro-microeconomic perspectives in Islam.
  2. Islamic Banking and Finance— covering Islamic banking systems, Islamic capital markets, sukuk, Islamic financial instruments, and monetary policy in Islamic economics.
  3. Islamic Accounting and Auditing— focusing on Sharia-based financial reporting, governance of Islamic financial institutions, and Sharia compliance.
  4. Zakat, Waqf, and Islamic Philanthropy— and their roles in social welfare and economic empowerment.
  5. Islamic Business, Management, and Entrepreneurship— emphasizing ethical business practices, halal innovation, and Islamic human resource management.
  6. Ethics and Governance in Islamic Economics— including social responsibility, justice, and transparency in economic activities.
  7. Fintech and Digital Innovation in Islamic Finance— such as blockchain, crowdfunding, and Islamic digital banking.
  8. Integration of Islamic and Conventional Economic Systems— through comparative and policy studies.

IJIEF accepts manuscripts in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, and all submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure originality, academic quality, and relevance to the advancement of Islamic economics and finance studies globally.
