Review Process

Reviewers/ bestari partners of the International Journal of Islamic Finance and Economics consist of competent experts in the fields of economics and business as well as social sciences where each works independently and professionally by upholding the code of ethics of scientific publications as reviewers. The process of peer-reviewing the manuscript of the International Journal of Islamic Finance and Economics is as follows:

Reviewers conduct a review and examination of incoming manuscripts to see if they are compatible with their expertise in the field of knowledge. The reviewer has the right to refuse if it is not in accordance with their expertise and competence, and the Editorial Board can transfer it to another appropriate reviewer.
Manuscripts that are reviewed are manuscripts that are double blind review (without the identity of the author and reviewer).
Reviewers review manuscripts based on the substance of the manuscript (article quality) within a maximum period of 2 weeks after the manuscript is received. If within that time period the manuscript review has not been completed, the reviewer must confirm to the Chief Editor or editor-in-chief of the journal.
During the manuscript review process, the reviewer provides an assessment of the manuscript through the Journal review form.
Manuscripts reviewed are returned to the Editorial Board.
The reviewer gives a decision on the manuscript of the review results, including:
Accept Submission (manuscript accepted).
Revisions Required (the manuscript needs to be revised by the author and returned to the reviewer).
Decline Submission (manuscript rejected).
